At For Youth Initiative, we believe that when we educate ourselves, we become better equipped to support, uplift, and advocate for the next generation of Black leaders. So, in the spirit of learning, we’ve compiled a required reading list for Canadians—books that challenge perspectives, inspire action, and honour the lived experiences of our Black communities.

While strides have been made, the reality remains stark: women are still vastly underrepresented in STEM careers. Now, in 2025, the urgency to bridge this gap has never been greater.
