Shine Jiyoun Chung, CORE Manager 

Shine is Manager of CORE (Centre for Organizational Resilience) department at For Youth Initiative where she is committed to building organizational and leadership capacity of grassroots youth-led initiatives. Born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea, Shine came to Canada in 2007 to start her new journey after she discovered her belief in the field of social work, in particular community development. Specialized in Social Justice & Diversity, and Ethnic, Immigration & Pluralism Studies, Shine holds a Master of Social Work degree from University of Toronto and currently a Registered Social Worker. Shine has extensive knowledge and experience in research, evaluation, clinical social work, program design, project development, organizational development, and strategic partnership development.
